Our Story
Lime Cook Up was born from a conversation that plays out every single day across the Caribbean diaspora: a phone call from home asking for a little help with groceries. For our founder, that conversation happened more times than can be counted and each time, the same problem surfaced. Sending money felt impersonal, slow and uncertain. Did it arrive? Was it spent on groceries or swallowed up by something more urgent? Was there a way to simply... send the groceries themselves?
Lime Cook Up is that way.
We built a platform that lets anyone, anywhere in the world, shop the real shelves of a real supermarket in Trinidad & Tobago and have those exact groceries collected by or delivered to the people they love. No wires, no waiting, no wondering.

To make caring for family across borders as simple, warm and immediate as it should be, starting with the place we call home, Trinidad & Tobago and growing across the Caribbean.

Why Trinidad & Tobago First
We chose to start in Trinidad & Tobago because it's home. We know the regions, we understand the supermarkets and we have real relationships with the community we're serving. As we grow, we plan to bring Lime Cook Up to other Caribbean nations, but we believe in doing one market exceptionally well before expanding.

Founder & CEO
Born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago, I've been living abroad for over 26 years, long enough to know exactly what it feels like to be far from home and still want to take care of the people you left behind. Like so many in the diaspora, sending money back home has been a regular part of my life. And like so many, I know the quiet worry that comes with it — did it arrive, did it go to what it was needed for, did it feel like the act of love it was meant to be?
Food is always at the heart of it. A relative needing help with groceries for the week, a parent who could do with a proper Christmas table, a friend who just needs a little something to get through. That's the conversation I've had more times than I can count and it's the conversation that started Lime Cook Up.
I built this platform because I am the customer. I understand what the diaspora needs because I live it every day. And I believe that sending love home should be as simple, warm and immediate as the feeling behind it.
